Most cases of Abuse always leaves survivors with questions such as: what do I do? Where do I go from here? Who do I talk to?

Here are what is expected of all survivors of abuse, families and friends to the survivors and the society at large after an incidence of Abuse:

  1. Speak out: Talk about it to anyone in your circle of influence
  2. ⁠seek medical help immediately: Go to a nearby assault referral center or government approved health Institutions
  3. ⁠The survivor should not throw away his/her clothing and other possessions on and with him/her during the abuse(it is an evidence for legal support
  4. ⁠Report it at a nearby police station
  5. ⁠separate yourself from the environment where the abuse takes place and from the abuser (if possible)
  6. ⁠seek a psychologist to help your healing journey
